Dec 13    NCCC Ambassador Monthly Meeting
It is the mission of the National City Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Program to promote member engagement and retention by:
  • Raising awareness of Chamber activities and benefits
  • Informing and involving new Chamber members to promote strong continuing membership
  • Encouraging meaningful and beneficial participation in the Chamber's programs
  • Serving as a liaison between the Chamber staff and membership

Dec 14    High Tech High- Mentor Luncheon
Our High Tech High students are very excited about their upcoming internships with your organizations and we are grateful for the authentic learning opportunities you are providing for them. We are confident that the student interns will have wonderful experiences, benefit your organizations and contribute in meaningful ways! 
 
We wanted to remind you about the Mentor Luncheon that will take place at High Tech High Media Arts on Thursday, December 14th from 12:00-1:30pm. The Mentor Luncheon is a great way to learn more about our internship program, connect with other mentors and ask any questions you have as a new or experienced mentor. Lunch will be provided and we hope to see you there!

The National City Chamber Board of Directors are committed to creating a strong local economy, providing networking opportunities, and representing its members in matters related to business, government and community relations. 

Board Director Requirements
 
1.      NCCC Member in good standing
2.      Attend 75% of Board Meetings
a.      Board meets every 3rd Tuesday at 9:30am to 11am.
b.      Executive Committee members meet every 2nd Thursday (9:30am-11am)
3.      Recruit 5 members per year
4.      Sponsor or secure sponsorship(s) worth $5,000
5.      Introduce or identify potential guest speaker
6.      Lead or participate in a Sub Committee:

The National City Chamber of Commerce is working with community partners to activate Morgan Square in National City, CA as part of the City's new A.R.O.W.  Program. The newly adopted city program allows nonprofit organizations to adopt public spaces. Our goal is to activate Morgan Square Plaza in National City's Downtown to stimulate the local economy, support the development of arts and culture, and embrace community building. Our vision is to bring together families, businesses, and the community at large to enjoy San Diego's rich diversity through art, music, crafts, culture, and goods.

Participation Guidelines:
·         $50 fee – artisan vendors OR $25 fee + 10% sales
·         $100 Food Vendors – 1 Dessert Vendor, 1 Beverage Vendor, 1 Food  Truck (rotating monthly)
·         1 rotating school to fundraise (sell non-competing food ex. Nachos)
·         Artist bring their own easels
·         Vendors provide their own table and tents
·         No tents/ Only market umbrellas allowed
