The Economic Vitality Work Group is reaching out to you regarding a newly formed work group designed to harness the power of collective action.
A thriving community requires a vital economy for all. The Economic Vitality Work Group is made up of community leaders from different sectors. With a shared vision to cultivate opportunities for all people to enjoy the highest quality of life, the Economic Vitality Work Group convenes once a month to discuss community economic needs, set priority areas and goals, review community level data, and conduct improvement projects that would contribute to economic vitality in San Diego South Region. This work group supports the broader Live Well San Diego effort that brings together different sectors in the community to build a region that is Healthy, Safe, and Thriving.
We need to attract new voices to the table in order to successfully develop our shared goals!
Economic Vitality Work Group Meetings
Meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month from 10-11:00 am at the National City Chamber of Commerce, Conference Room (901 National City Blvd. National City, CA 91950).

| Hailed as one of today’s most gifted comedians, Michael Jr. got his start when George Wallace took him to the legendary Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach. Even though the club is the home of Jay Leno and “The Tonight Show” staff, the club’s owner slipped the unknown comic onstage to perform. A week later, Michael Jr. was performing at the “Just for Laughs” comedy festival in Montreal where he became the first comedian to ever appear live via satellite on “The Tonight Show.” |

| Apr 11 Job Fair- 8th Annual Career Pathways to Success |
The South County Career Center & the National City Chamber have organized a Spring Job Fair which brings together nearly 800 job seekers with up to 70 area employers seeking to fill specific job slots.
This is a job fair focusing on employers in the growth industries of Automotive, Healthcare, Hospitality and Maritime Industries.
Other industries will be considered pending committee review.
Please confirm your attendance and participation by completing this registration and returning to the South County Business Services Team.
Hosted by the City of National City, the South County Career Center, the National City Chamber of Commerce, and the Small Business Development Center.
FOR EMPLOYERS:
Please submit your registration no later than APRIL 2, 2018.
- $75 Early Bird Registration offered until March 1st.
- $100 after March 1st.
**Fee is WAIVED for Government Agencies and Non-Profits
All participating entities will be provided a 6 ft. display table and two chairs. (2 persons per table)
